I truly felt empowered as a new mom
I love the Maximized Maternity Leave 101 because I truly felt empowered as a new mom to maximize my time with my new baby boy. I was initially driven with so much anxiety on how to navigate my maternity leave since my work does not make things simple for me to take my leave. When I came across a free session I was immediately relieved that there was something out there with all the tools I needed to navigate this new journey. It was most definitely worth the investment and I would recommend it to any mama looking to feel confident in her options for maternity leave so they can have the most special opportunity to bond with their newborn :)

I have only just started Maximized Maternity Leave 101 and already cannot stress enough how much value this course brings. I felt a true sense of relief and a burst of confidence immediately upon starting module 1. I announced my pregnancy to my boss yesterday, and even just informing him that I was using this course to finalize a maternity leave plan made the whole process so much easier and gave me so much assurance when making the announcement. I'm a first time mom trying to navigate maternity leave with little direction from my employer and EDD. This course has been a Godsend! I feel way more empowered and armed with facts to approach my employer. Diane does a great job of breaking down the material in short easy way to digest without being overwhelmed. The Maximized Maternity Leave 101 course is nothing short of amazing. It breaks down all the complicated laws and programs that are so hard to understand on their own. With so many leave options and protections available, I wanted to make sure I was prepared going into pregnancy and getting the most time off to spend adjusting to postpartum and parenthood. After all, you don't get this time back, and information from different employers and state websites are super confusing and loaded with jargon. This course helps you put YOU and your family first!

The California laws can be so complicated! My employer is not based in California so I knew I had to do all of the research before presenting my plan to them. This course made it so easy and understandable. After completing the course, I presented my plan to my employer and was able to secure nearly an extra 3 months of maternity leave. I am so grateful to have extra time with my baby and that is truly priceless to me. Going into my birth I am very relaxed now and don't feel the need to rush back to my job.

This program was a life saver! My employer did not provide any information or education about maternity leave which I was extremely overwhelmed about! This program educated and empowered me to navigate my maternity leave to it's fullest potential! I was so unsure about maternity leave before I found this course. I was going into it just thinking that I would get the time off and get the pay and then I would come back to work and that's it.
I am so thankful I purchased the Maximized Maternity Leave 101. First of all, the EDD website is so overwhelming and confusing, so when they literally hold your hand and walk you through the how to and where to for all details regarding time off and paid time off, I was so relieved. I was able to take maximum amount of time I wanted off and I learned that the PFL can be used in so many different ways and at anytime in the first year. So, I saved some time off so I can use it for a little family vacation when my son gets a little older. :)
Overall, this course gives you every single detail you will need and want when you are planning your maternity leave. It is essentially a "how to do everything to prepare for your maternity leave, for dummies" In the most positive way possible! I found this course at the very end of my pregnancy, but we will be having another kid soon and I am so thankful to have all of this information to make a better plan for my next time off! Thank you so much for making that time for me so much less stressful.
